Liverpool are planning to double Manchester United’s £5million bid for Fulham striker Louis Saha, according to the Daily Star.
Reds boss Gerard Houllier is desperate for striking options and believes the offer will be enough to tempt the Cottagers to part with the 25-year-old.
However, Saha still has more than two years left on his contract and Fulham have already insisted they have no intention of selling the French forward.
