Fulham have sacked CEO Bruce Langham and will appoint his successor “within the next few weeks”.

The Cottagers claimed Langham’s departure was part of “management restructuring”.

The club’s statement read: “Fulham Football Club today announced that Mr Bruce Langham has had his contract as chief executive officer of the club terminated on notice. Mr Langham’s departure is part of a management restructuring which will see the appointment of a new CEO within the next few weeks.”

In the interim Fulham’s deputy managing director, Lee Hoos, and finance director, Andy Ambler, will take charge of the day-to-day running of the club.” Hoos and Ambler deputised for Langham at a fiery public meeting held by Back to the Cottage on Tuesday night.
