Fulham manager Chris Coleman has recalled Zesh Rehman back from his loan spell at Brighton.

A fresh injury to Mark Pembridge and continued question marks over Sean Davis’ future prompted Coleman to bring the highly-rated 20-year-old back to Loftus Road.

Rehman scored twice in seven appearances for the Seagulls, including a stunning debut strike against Rushden & Diamonds.

Seagulls boss Mark McGhee said: “Fulham have got injury problems and they want him back. They did say that we could play him in the draw with Peterborough.

“But I felt that we should show some commitment to the players that will be here on Tuesday and next Saturday. We’re disappointed that he’s going back. We’ve already said if he becomes available in the near future we’ll have him back again.”
