Calum Willock has joined Peterborough on loan and Posh boss Barry Fry has already indicated that he would like to turn the transfer into a permanent move.

The young striker, who has made substitute appearances for Fulham, has amassed plenty of lower-league loan experience with spells at tenants QPR and Bristol Rovers, whom he joined earlier this season. Willock is expected to make his debut for United against Torquay in the LDV Vans Trophy on Wednesday evening.

Fry said: “His outstanding pace will be a real asset at our level. He has not been given much of a chance at Fulham and it’s a month’s loan with a view to a permanent move. Hopefully he can fit in very quickly and we can persuade him to join us after the loan.”
