Barry Hayles feels Fulham can contain Ruud Van Nistelrooy and beat Manchester United tomorrow.

The Dutch striker scored five times in Fulham’s two previous Premiership visits to Old Trafford. But Hayles insists belief is high under Chris Coleman following the Whites’ fine start to the season.

Hayles told the Sun: “We’ve conceded six goals away to United in our last two visits. Five of those have come from Ruud, so we know who we must stop. Our confidence is high and we genuinely think we can go there without fear and cause an upset.”
