Fulham wing-back Jon Harley has had his loan to Sheffield United extended by a further two months.

The 24-year-old has made five appearances for the Blades this season, having been at Bramall Lane for two months last term and boss Neil Warnock is happy to keep hold of Harley.

He told the club’s official website: “With our current injury situation, we have to strengthen and the directors are working hard to help me in the quest for new players.

“But it isn’t straightforward to bring in better players on a month’s loan and we have been fortunate with Jon.

“I’m pleased that Fulham have allowed us to have him for two more months and we are all glad that he is on board and I’m sure he will feel the benefit of having a few games under his belt.”
