Fulham midfielder Sean Davis played his first football since damaging knee ligaments in July when he turned out for Fulham’s reserves against Watford last night.

He played the first 45 minutes in a game which saw Malik Buari hit a brace as the Cottagers hit back from being 2-0 down.

Davis, who saw moves to Everton and Middlesbrough collapse in the summer, has not played since sustaining the injury during the club’s pre-season friendly against Austrian side ASK Voitsberg.
