Fulham midfielder Lee Clark is hoping he can earn a new deal with the West London club after being given a fresh chance under manager Chris Coleman.

The 31-year-old barely got a chance under former manager Jean Tigana, having been linked with a move to Leeds United last May.

Despite the links, Clark has since seen new life breathed into his Fulham career under Coleman and the former Newcastle United and Sunderland player is hopeful that it will lead to a new deal with the Loftus Road outfit.

“Under Chris, it has been different class,” Clark revealed.

“He’s given me confidence and I feel I’m going to get a run. I’m settled here now.

“It would be great if we could work something out.”
