Roma are being linked with a shock move for Fulham striker Louis Saha.
The Italian giants are believed to have been impressed by the young Frenchman during a recent friendly clash between the two sides and have made enquiries about the former Metz and Newcastle ace.
Roma are on the look-out for a new striker for the new season and may turn their attentions to Saha after being continually frustrated in their attempts to land Real Madrid’s Fernando Morientes.
Giallorossi president Franco Sensi has fuelled speculation over a move for Saha, by admitting they will sign a French striker.
“We will hire a young French forward,” hinted Sensi.
