Fulham have signed Arsenal defender Moritz Volz on loan from Arsenal until December 31.
Chris Coleman has signed the German under-21 international as a replacement for Steve Finnan after failing to secure Glasgow Rangers right back Fernando Ricksen. The 20 year-old, who made ten appearances and scored twice during two months on loan with Wimbledon with Wimbledon last season, is expected to be Fulham’s first choice right back for the forthcoming campaign.
Coleman told Fulham’s official website:
“Moritz is a young quality player and I know that he will be a great addition to the squad, although he is young he shows great maturity on the pitch and can read the game well. I am sure that he will do well for us.”
