John Hartson’s agent has distanced the striker from reports of a possible move to Fulham – insisting the Welsh striker is ‘very happy’ at Celtic.

Jonathan Barnett told the BBC Sport website he would not be made aware of interest from other clubs until such time as an offer was accepted by Celtic.

The Daily Express reports that Fulham had a £4m bid rejected by Celtic, with manager Chris Coleman mulling whether to return with an improved offer for his former international team-mate. Barnett told the BBC: “John is very happy at Celtic, he loves Celtic.”

The Scottish giants are understood to be unwilling to part with Hartson, who is currently recovering from surgery on his injured back, after Henrik Larsson’s departure this summer.
