Fulham’s Sean Davis will attempt to resurrect a £5million move to Everton today by asking for the chance to speak with Goodison Park boss David Moyes.
After hearing that Everton’s bid had been rejected, the England Under 21 midfielder expressed his concern to Chris Coleman and arranged to meet the Fulham manager this morning.
In a development that will give Everton renewed hope of completing a deal, Davis, 23, will make it clear he wants to investigate the financial and playing implications of a move.
It comes at a time when Moyes had all but dismissed his chances of landing a player he feels can revitalise his midfield.
But Davis appears willing to try to force the issue and will spell out to Coleman that Everton’s offer makes economic sense to Fulham as well as offering him an opportunity to further his career.
