Fulham midfielder John Collins is on Coventry manager Gary McAllister’s wanted list says skipper Mo Konjic.

Konjic believes that the addition of players with top-flight experience can help turn Coventry from a side struggling at the bottom of Division One into play-off candidates next season.

Fulham ace Collins found himself out of the first-team picture at Craven Cottage under Jean Tigana but since his departure has been back in the squad under caretaker boss Chris Coleman.

Konjic said: “The boss has mentioned three names – John Collins, Craig Hignett and Dion Dublin. If you put those in this team now we’d be capable of chasing a play-off place.
“We already have a good group of kids and some experienced players. So if we get three top players, it will make this team capable of doing things.”
