Fulham have signed striker Facundo Sava from Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata for a fee of around £2m.
The Argentinian centre forward has signed a four-year contract with the Cottagers. Sava has spent five years at Gimnasia after arriving from Boca Juniors and scored twelve league goals last season as they finished second to River Plate and qualified for the Copa Libertadores.
The 28 year-old told Fulham’s official website:
“I am extremely happy to have come to England to sign for Fulham Football Club. The move is a big step for me and I will try to give my best for the team.’’
Sava will formally become a Fulham player when FIFA finalise his international clearance.
