Andy Melville admitted Fulham are fed up of being praised after losing Premiership matches.
The Welsh defender wants points rather than plaudits after the Whites pushed Arsenal all the way at Craven Cottage yesterday but ended up losing 3-1.
“We’re a bit fed up with people saying that Fulham are doing well and putting in good performances but we haven’t got the points on board, which is more important. We should have punished Derby and Charlton, and then we gave Arsenal too much respect in the first half.
We got away with it a bit as we could have been 2-0 or 3-0 down at the break but we improved after that only for them to show their class in the final 15 minutes. There were lessons learned out there for us. Arsenal are obviously one of the best two or three sides in the league and we have to aim that high in the future.”
