Alain Goma is hopeful of being fit for Fulham’s next Premiership game against Charlton Athletic after picking up an injury during Saturday’s draw with Derby County.
The Fulham defender was substituted in the first half of the goalless draw at Craven Cottage and believes he may have suffered some torn fibres in a thigh muscle. He hopes to use the two-week international break to his advantage and be ready to return to Jean Tigana’s starting line-up against the Addicks at the Valley in September.
Goma told Teamtalk:
“I felt a muscle go a little but hopefully it’s nothing too serious. We have a game in two weeks at Charlton and I would hope make that without any problems.”
