Fulham manager Jean Tigana is mourning the death of his father who passed away yesterday at the age of 86.
Boubou Tigana was a hero of the Second World War and was awarded several military medals while fighting under the command of General Leclerc. Following the war, Tigana senior helped set up a sports association that developed teams of young footballers – and inspired his son’s passion for the beautiful game.
