Turkish international Hakan Sukur is the latest name to be linked with Fulham as Jean Tigana’s summer search for a striker continues.
The Inter Milan forward, who looks set to leave Italy this summer, has previously spoken of a desire to play in England and Fulham have so far been frustrated in their attempts to find a partner for Louis Saha, having missed on deals to sign Jan Koller and Oliver Bierhoff. Sukur came close to making a Premier League move when Fulham legend Sir Bobby Robson almost took him to Newcastle, only for Inter to beat him to the punch.
Italian press reports claim that Fulham have opened discussions with Inter about a potential deal for the 6ft 3in striker and the ‘Bull of Bosphorous’ has already gone public with his hopes of leaving the San Siro this summer.
