Fulham are poised to sign Liberian legend George Weah, according to the Daily Mirror’s Danny Fullbrook.

The splash in today’s tabloid claims that Weah, who had his contract at AC Milan cancelled by mutual consent last week, has flown to London for talks with Fulham boss Jean Tigana. The 30 year-old, who spent three months on loan at Stamford Bridge last season, will sign for the Whites if he passes a medical – which is booked in at Motspur Park tomorrow.

The Mirror suggests that Weah has been offered a three-year contract worth £25,000-a-week and a £1m bonus if he helps fire Fulham to the Premiership.
