Bermudan-born striker Kyle Lightbourne was brought in loan from Coventry City by Ray Wilkins in January 1998 to add more firepower to Fulham’s attack as the Whites looked to reignite their promotion push from the Second Division. He made his debut in a goalless draw against Wycombe Wanderers 24 hours after signing but headed back to Highfield Road less than a month later, despite scoring three goals in five games.
