Terry Angus scored at both ends as a below-par Fulham side had to settle for a point after this Boxing Day clash with Exeter City at Craven Cottage.

The Grecians were gifted an opening goal from almost their only attack of the first half when centre back Angus turned a deflected cross past his own goalkeeper Tony Lange as he stretched to clear. Angus made amends five minutes before half time when he powered home a header from Paul Watson’s free-kick and the popular centre back was unfortunate not to grab a winner as he was twice denied by Peter Fox.

Fulham racked up thirteen corners and seventeen shots on goal but couldn’t force a winner with visiting goalkeeper Fox making fine saves to keep out second half efforts from top scorer Mike Conroy, Darren Freeman and Rob Scott.
