Young Fulham forward Rory Hammill has been fined two weeks wages after being sent off in a reserve game for headbutting an opponent.

The Northern Irish striker served the first game of a three-match suspension on Tuesday night against Doncaster Rovers after being red carded in the reserves’ game at Wokingham for headbutting defender Christian Elsey. Fulham boss Ian Branfoot told the Fulham Chronicle that disciplinary action had been taken against Hammill in line with the club’s policy.
