Former Luton striker Sean Farrell joined Fulham in December 1991 after being frozen out by David Pleat. He scored 38 goals in 110 games for the Whites before joining Peterborough United for £120,000 in August 1994 after the club were relegated to Division Three. Farrell memorably scored a hat-trick at West Bromwich Albion in a 4-1 win on New Year’s Day.
