Former Manchester City and Southampton midfielder Graham Baker signed for Fulham on a free transfer in July 1990 having lost his place in the Saints midfield to Barry Horne. In two injury-hit seasons at Craven Cottage, he made just thirteen appearances – scoring a single goal in a 4-0 thrashing of Shrewsbury Town – before retiring. He had a brief coaching career before becoming a driving instructor in Cheam.
