Lambeth-born Terry Bullivant signed for Fulham as apprentice in May 1974. He made his senior debut as a substitute at Bristol City in the final league game of the following season, going on to make 115 first-team appearances in four years at Craven Cottage before moving to Aston Villa for £220,000 in November 1979. Bullivant managed Reading and Barnet after his playing career came to a close before coaching at Crystal Palace, Brentford and Aldershot Town.
