Fulham midfielder Luke Harris has been called up to the Welsh senior squad for next week’s Nations League matches against Turkey and Iceland.

The 19 year-old, currently on loan at Birmingham City, has replaced Charlie Savage in Craig Bellamy’s squad and could finally earn a senior debut having missed out on minutes when included by Bellamy’s predecessor Rob Page. The Jersey-born teenager has made won six under-21 caps for his country and captained the Welsh youth sides from under-14 to under-19 level.

Harris, who has made seven first-team appearances for Fulham under Marco Silva, has scored once in eight outings for Blues since moving to St. Andrew’s on a season-long loan in late August.
