Emile Smith Rowe is enjoying his new start at Fulham having scored within seven minutes of making his first appearance for the club against Sevilla last night.
The former Arsenal winger immediately transformed the Whites’ fortunes after coming off the bench at half-time in the 2-1 defeat on the Algarve last night – and told the Evening Standard that he has settled in superbly since signing from Arsenal at the end of last week.
Smith Rowe said:
“I love my new team-mates, I’ve settled in really well. I feel really comfortable around them. I’ve only trained twice, so it has been new and challenging to make connections with my team-mates. But I feel like it showed that we are really gelling well already, so I can’t wait for the next one.
It’s like a family here, everyone is so close. It’s just amazing and I am really happy to be here to be honest. I am really happy with my first minutes. It’s looking promising. I will keep building, keep training and be better.”
Thought he brought a bit of class to the match when he came on, very good. Like his attitude a real plus.
