Alex Iwobi is having a medical at Fulham this morning ahead of his proposed permanent move from Everton, according to Sky Sports News.

Marco Silva signed the Nigerian international when he was in charge at Goodison Park in 2019 and is keen to be reunited with the versatile midfielder at Craven Cottage. Iwobi featured for Sean Dyche’s side in their opening day defeat by the Whites but was injured in the 4-0 hammering at Aston Villa and Everton are seeking to raise funds for incomings with deadline day sales.

Iwobi, who can play in central midfield as well on the wing or at wing back, was an ever-present for Everton last season and has made 140 appearances for the Toffees. The 27 year-old came through Arsenal’s academy and made 149 first-team appearances for the Gunners, winning the FA Cup in 2017.
