Chris Coleman has laughed off suggestions that his Fulham side will be favourites to beat Liverpool on Sunday.

The Welshman recently guided the Londoners to a famous win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, but knows that Liverpool will pose a serious threat this weekend.

Coleman told his pre-match press conference:

“It’s going to be a difficult game on Sunday. It was a great game for us last weekend against Man United – the performance was brilliant and I’m sure it’ll be remembered for a long time – but we’ve got to put that to bed and focus on Liverpool. They’ve got great players and it’s going to be hard but we’ll go in to the game again with no fear and it is one where we can get points if we produce the sort of form that we showed last week.

“Personally I don’t see us as favourites going in to the game – even though we have just beaten Man United and have had a good start to the season – we’re playing Liverpool at the end of the day. They’ve got top quality players and, to get anything out of the game, every single player on the pitch has got to put on their best performance. I don’t think Liverpool are unbeatable at the moment, they are a good team but we have a good chance to get points out of the game. We need to keep our good run going.”
