Former Fulham midfielder Kevin McDonald is training with Dundee United, according to the Daily Record.
United have given McDonald the use of their training facilities as he looks to restart his playing career having had a successful kidney transplant last year. The 33 year-old left Fulham in the summer after four years at Craven Cottage, during which he won two promotions from the Championship and made 127 appearances for the Whites.
The former Scottish international briefly trained with his first club Dundee last October and has now been given another opportunity to boost his fitness by their city rivals, who announced a collaboration with the Cottagers last week.
Wishing him lots of luck in his bid to get back to fitness after his transplant, if anyone can do it he can. Also how brilliant of Dundee United to allow him to train there and use their facilities too. Go Kevin and lots of luck for the future to a real Fulham Legend.
Kevin as so much skill on the ball and is eager to get going, training hard to get back to fitness – he would be a great asset with his leadership qualities to help the younger lads. no brainer sign him, up …he is a free agent.
Good luck Kevin and thanks for your input in our promotion seasons, I and many Fulham fans wish you every success in your recovery and your quest to get back into football.
If anyone can, you can thank-you Dundee for your support for him
