David Stockdale and Bobby Zamora have named in the England squad for their final Euro 2012 qualifier in Montenegro next week.

England need a point from Friday’s game in Montenegro to seal a place at next year’s finals in Poland and Ukraine. Stockdale, currently on loan at Ipswich, has been a regular as the back-up goalkeeper in recent England squads and has been on the bench in England’s last two fixtures. The 26 year-old goalkeeper has been in excellent form whilst on loan at the Championship club, producing fine displays in Ipswich’s last two games: a 0-0 draw at Middlesbrough and the 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday.

Zamora has been called-up to the England squad for the first time this season after recovering from niggling ankle and thigh problems. He was left involved in the 2-2 draw against Switzerland in the summer as an unused substitute and has shown signs of returning to the form that propelled him into the international reckoning over the last two seasons. He scored his fifth goal of the campaign this afternoon in Fulham’s 6-0 humbling of QPR.
