Zverotic and Fazlic leave Fulham

Fulham defender Elsad Zverotic and midfielder Dino Fazlic have left Fulham with immediate effect.

Zverotic joined the club at the start of the 2013-14 season but he had only played one game since the middle of December, and leaves after starting only 14 times.

His contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

Zverotic also scored against England for Montenegro in a 2-2 draw in Group G of the European Championships in 2012.

Fazlic arrived at Craven Cottage after a trial last summer but failed to break into Kit Symons’ first-team squad.

The Serbian has joined Croatian side FK Zadar on a permanent deal.

Fulham continue their Championship campaign on Saturday when they make the trip to Millwall.

Fulham add Fazlic

Fulham have handed a one-year deal to Bosnian midfielder Dino Fazlic following a successful trial.

Fazlic featured in the pre-season games against East Fife and Caykur Rizespor and did enough to convince Felix Magath to add him to the Craven Cottage ranks.

The 22-year-old was previously with Grasshopper Club Zurich in Switzerland before leaving in the summer.

Fazlic came through the ranks at Werder Bremen before moving to England in 2012 to join Bolton Wanderers.

However, he failed to make a first-team appearance for the Trotters and headed to Switzerland a year later.
