Fulham have confirmed that winger Martial Godo has signed for Strasbourg in a deal believed to be worth up to £6m.
The Ivory Coast under-23 international had not featured for the Whites this season and was eager to play first-team football to further his development. Godo had enjoyed a remarkable rise from non-league football having been signed by Fulham from non-league Margate after a successful trial.
The left winger made his senior debut in Fulham’s League Cup defeat by Crawley Town before enjoying an excellent loan spell with League One Wigan Athletic in 2023/2024. He made six first-team appearances for Fulham and will now link with former Fulham full back Liam Rosenior, who guided Strasbourg to seventh place in Ligue 1 and Europa Conference League football.
