Fulham have confirmed that AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze has completed a season-long loan deal this evening.

The deal, which includes an option to buy, was completed at the end of a frantic transfer deadline day after protracted negotiations between the two clubs. The Nigerian international will wear the number 19 shirt at Craven Cottage.

Chukwueze told FFC TV:

“I’m so happy to be here. It’s an amazing club. It feels like home, because I have my people around me. I feel at home already, and I can’t wait to get started.”

The 26 year-old joins Fulham having made 70 appearances in three seasons with AC Milan, scoring eight goals. Chukwueze starred at Villarreal, scoring 37 goals in 207 games, helping the Yellow Submarine lift the UEFA Europa League in 2021. First capped at senior level in 2018, Chukwueze now has 46 senior caps for the Super Eagles, scoring seven goals, and was part of the squad that reached the final of the 2023 African Cup of Nations alongside his new Fulham team-mates Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi.
