Harry Wilson is aiming to repeat last season’s heroics as Fulham prepare to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.

The Welsh winger could well feature in the SW6 derby after Whites boss Marco Silva revealed that the foot injury he sustained on Wednesday night against Bristol City was ‘nothing’ serious. Wilson, who equalised on Boxing Day before Rodrigo Muniz’s stoppage time winner secured Fulham’s first win at the Bridge in 45 years, told FFCTV that the squad were aiming to pick up their first league win of the season against the Blues.

“We had a great win there last year. Rodrigo scored in the 95th minute to get us the win, which was an amazing feeling, so if we can do that again it would be great. But we know we’re going to have to be at the top of our game, because Chelsea showed in the summer, winning the Club World Cup, what a fantastic team they are.

They had an amazing win last Friday as well against West Ham, so we know it’s going to be a really tough game, but we know that if we play to the levels we’re capable of then we’ll be able to get a result. Every London derby we play, we always go in wanting to win it. We know it means that extra bit more to the fans, especially the local ones against Chelsea and Brentford.”
