Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi is ‘on his way to Fulham,’ according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 33 year-old was set to choose between the Craven Cottage club and Leeds United this week, but Gazzetta’s report suggests that the Iranian international is poised to pick London as his destination. The only stumbling block is that Fulham will not match the £2.6m a year he current earns at Inter and that once he agrees to a wage cut, he could become the Whites’ second signing of the summer.

Gazzetta also reports that a glowing review from former Fulham winger Ashkan Dejagah has also proved crucial in Taremi’s choice. Corriere dello Sport also agree that the former Porto forward is set to join Marco Silva’s squad. They suggest that the striker has already agreed to lower his wage demands as he wants to play in the Premier League.
