Shakhtar Donetsk have turned down an offer worth £35m from Fulham for their winger Kevin this evening, according to Fabricio Romano.

The Whites submitted an offer of around £26.2m – with another £8.75m in performance-related add-ons – for the talented Brazilian 22 year-old, but that the Ukrainian outfit turned it down. Shakhtar are seeking something closer to £40m, especially as Serie A side Napoli are known to admire the left winger and are tracking his availability.

Kevin, who joined Shakhtar from Palmeiras last January in a £13.m move, helped the Miners’ win the Ukrainian title back to back in 2023/24. He scored three goals – adding four assists – in seventeen games in that campaign before finding the net nine minutes in 35 appearances the following year, with four assists. The lively left winger was voted the club’s player of the season by the fans last month,

Kevin, who is contracted to Shakhtar until December 2028, has been in extraordinary form in Europa League qualifying this season. He scored once and made two more in a 6-0 thrashing of Ilves Tampere in the first qualifying round first leg before bagging a brace in the second round first leg win in Besiktas. He scored again in the home leg as Shakhtar set up a meeting with Greek giants Panathinaikos tonight.

It remains to be seen whether the Whites will return with an increased offer for the prodigiously talented former Brazilian youth international.
