Andreas Pereira has been given the green light to fly to Brazil and undergo his Palmeiras medical ahead of a proposed £8.6m move from Fulham.

The Brazilian international has agreed a four-year contract with Verdão, according to reports from Sao Paulo, and the two clubs have finally reached agreement on both the fee and the structure of the payments. The 29 year-old, who was left out of Marco Silva’s squad for Sunday’s 1-1 draw with his old club Manchester United at Craven Cottage, is keen to retain his place in Carlo Ancelotti’s national team squad for the 2026 World Cup and will move for regular first-team football.
