Palmeiras have made signing Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira their top priority, according to Brazilian outlet Bolavip.

The Sao Paolo side have reignited their interest in the former Manchester United midfielder after selling Richard Rios and the latest reporting claims that president Leila Pereira has told director Anderson Barros to finalise an agreement to acquire the Brazilian international in the coming days.

Palmeiras are now expediting discussions with Fulham over a permanent deal for Pereira, who wants to play first-team football to boost his chances of playing for Brazil in next summer’s World Cup.
