We are delighted to announce a partnership with Cottage Talk and the creation of cottagetalk.cc, which will become the new home of Fulham’s first podcast, created by Russ Goldman in 2011.
The new website will launch just before Fulham’s first match of the 2025/2026 Premier League season at Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday 16 August and offer a long-term future for the Cottage Talk community.
Russ, who became a Fulham fan after following Clint Dempsey from the New England Revolution to Craven Cottage, had the idea to start a Fulham-focused podcast after a year of writing the Cottagers’ Confidential Fulham blog. Cottage Talk’s first episode saw Russ discuss Fulham’s Europa League qualifying fixture against Dnipro with his first co-host Kyle Bonn.

Russ has covered the up and downs of Fulham’s fortunes ever since. His broadcasts have featured interviews with Fulham players, including Aaron Hughes, the club’s ownership and a long list of former Fulham favourites, such as Rob Wilson, Gordon Davies, Tony Gale and Micky Adams. The popular preview and match review shows are usually conducted by Russ and a guest livestreamed on YouTube – with select episodes made available for subscribers via the Patreon platform.
As Russ said himself several years ago:
“Cottage Talk has helped me with being a fan in the United States. It’s not like I can just walk down the street and talk to someone about Fulham. It’s helped to keep my interest and gives me a way to express myself. I wanted this not to be an American podcast. It’s a Fulham podcast. I am as passionate as anyone, I just happen to live in America. If there were two of me the other would be living in London.”
Regular co-hosts of Cottage Talk over the years have included Lorcan O’Connor, Mike Gregg, Emilio Di Nello, Craig Coben, Yannis Tjanetis and Max Cohen. While the show usually comes live from the Goldman family home in Massachusetts, Cottage Talk has developed a global audience that tunes in for Russ’s reaction to the latest developments at Craven Cottage.
We are pleased to announce that, at the start of the 2025/2026 season, Cottage Talk will join the HammyEnd stable to provide even more frequent Fulham analysis. The Cottage Talk website will be run by Russ in association with hammyend.com and Creative Gotland.
