A report from Turkey claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to take Raheem Sterling to Besiktas but has to wait for the outcome of Fulham’s negotiations with Chelsea over their potential loan deal for the England international.

Fotospor claims that Solskjaer is interested in luring the former Liverpool and Manchester City forward to Istanbul – alongside Jadon Sancho – but that 30 year-old wants to stay in London. The Turkish sports paper suggests that the Black Eagles are having to be patient as Fulham are ‘better placed’ to secure Sterling’s services on account of their location and offering Premier League football, even though the Blues are keener on selling him.

Chelsea have apparently softened their stance on Sterling in the last few days and Fulham remain interested in securing a season-long loan for the four-time Premier League winner.
