Fulham have resumed discussions with Arsenal over another loan spell at Craven Cottage – after Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin said he wasn’t interested in moving to SW6.

The Daily Mirror’s Ryan Taylor reports that the Whites put their summer-long talks with the Gunners over a second successive loan spell for Nelson on loan in order to pursue a permanent deal for Shakhtar’s young Brazilian winger. But the Ukrainian outfit rejected Fulham’s £35m bid and the 22 year-old speedster was not interested in signing for the Cottagers.

Nelson, who made twelve appearances for Marco Silva’s side before succumbing to hamstring injury last December, was keen to return to Craven Cottage but Taylor details concentrate interest in the winger from other Premier League clubs. Roma have also tabled an enquiry with Arsenal and Nelson’s representives. Fulham had hoped to secure a second loan with an option to buy – but the Gunners are keen to sell 25 year-old and may entertain offers from elsewhere as a sale of an academy graduate would strengthen their PSR position.
