Fulham are trying to hijack Leeds United’s move to sign Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi, according to reports in the Italian press.
Corrierre dello Sport, who claimed on Thursday that newly-promoted Leeds were strong favourites to sign the 33 year-old Iranian international ahead of West Ham United and Fulham, now reveal that Inter could be beneficiaries of what the paper calls ‘an English derby’ between two Premier League rivals desperate to add to their striking resources. The report states that Fulham want to beat Leeds to the services of the former Porto forward, who has struggled to replicate his best form since moving to Italy.
Why try to sign a player ,who is basically washed up !!
I agree, why would we even waste any money on a 33 year old striker? Spend on a young stiker that can develop. Or spend the money for a potential game-changing winger like Kevin. I hope this is just a bad rumor!
I’m sure they are, HammyEnd. I am sure they are.
We have Jimenez as a good veteran striker whose donning great for us, we need a younger forward, we Got Muniz leaning of him but need one more . Must not waste money on 33 years old front man
Desperation has now set in and that’s about right for Fulham, to battle over another over the hill striker, that shows real ambition.
This persistent bad news item matches the regular Sterling
‘updates’!!
Hmm!
Chelsea used to known as the Pensioners.. Our team are heading that way. Please sign a player under 28 of age. even at that age it must be an improvement. We do not want a 33 year old player who might be third choice nor di we want Sterling
Just nonsense. Wait for the end of the window and then we’ll see a flurry of activity when we bargain hunt.
This player is finished. However, Fulhams recruitment dept? Anything is possible. Joke!!!
I’m surprised we didn’t try for Ashley Young!
