Fulham under-18s captain Logan Cooke has put pen to paper on his first professional contract with the Premier League club.

The commanding centre half, who played every minute for Ali Melloul’s side last season, joined Fulham’s academy aged nine and progressed through the age group sides to make his under-18s in a 3-0 defeat by West Ham in 2023. Cooke, who has been included in Hayden Mullins’ under-21 squad over the summer, has been lauded for his leadership qualities and had the happy knack of scoring vital late goals last term, including a 94th minute winner against Leicester City last October.

The seventeen year-old told Fulham’s official website this afternoon:

“It’s a great feeling. To be able to call myself a professional footballer is something that every kid dreams of. My time at Fulham has been the best years of my life. I’ve been here for nine years now and being here every day is something that I love doing. I’m so proud to say that this is now my job.”
