Matteo Moretto reports that Fulham’s deal to bring AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze to Craven Cottage has hit a snag.
The Milan-based journalist says that the parties had agreed a loan deal, including an option to buy – that could become an obligation should the Nigerian international play a set number of games – for £21m, but that there is now a disagreement over the payment structures, including loan fees, that AC Milan will receive.
The move is further complicated by the fact that the Rossoneri require the former Villarreal wide man to be in their matchday squad against Leece tonight as they have no available forwards other than Rafa Leao, who is an injury doubt. It remains to be seen whether the problems Moretto has detailed can be ironed out – or if Fulham, desperate to satisfy Marco Silva’s demands for signings to supplement his squad, move on to other targets.
Absolute Nonsense. Morretto didn’t say anything about hitting a block. Stop spreading misinformation
That’s it. I’m off to sleep in a cave until 1st September. Wake me up when it’s all over.
You wouldn’t read about it we are the only club who haven’t got a clue about signing players in every transfer window same old shit leaving everything until the last minute, does TK go on holidays every transfer window because I don’t think he does his job or we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Why o why can
every team in the premier buy players quickly and Fulham are still mucking about disgraceful . Nobody wants to come to Fulham unless the transfer team are useless or we have no money, the Fulham supporters at the moment are not enjoying this transfer window Come on u Whites come on Fulham
I understand deals can be hard to do. But proves incompetence, he nearly signed on deadline day in January but ran out of time. So if we really wanted him surely should have been done early this window as it was almost finished in January. And if snags moved on very early this window. I still have a feeling we don’t really want to sign anyone and just going through the motions. So they can say they tried hope I’m wrong
Fulham has been in conversations with Milan about this player since previous transfer windows so why couldn’t this deal get done at the beginning (*desired date) of the transfer window? If the player had already joined this wouldn’t be an issue. This highlights how and why transfer activity must improve at the club. Improvement will increase the *satisfaction of the manager and the fans. The player, the squad, the coaching staff would also benefit from earlier integration and both clubs free resources to focus on other business objectives.
I believe Fulham play games in the window to appease the supporters but have no intention of spending. They take us for fools
Don’t sell him A say good playa
Whilst again FFC are ‘hobbling’ around the latest transfer window, I thought I would compare ‘Jacksonvie Jaguars’ players contracts … The difference confirms the owners (therefore the club’s) true feelings. I leave you to make up your own minds, as we are all entitled to our own opinions, rather than spouting off with less than 100% facts available?
One day, we may.get an owner who cares for the club with an equal passion for business?
My Dad first took me to Craven Cottage in or around 1957 to watch Jimmy Hill, I’ve been a fan since!

This is rather like a Soap Opera Saga. I personally think the transfer will go through depending on Milan’s match tonight where it looks like he wit be on the substitutes bench or even start. I hope we have an alternative lined up in case things go wrong
I’m with Nick. I mean… I’m not sleeping with Nick in a cave….I just agree with going to sleep for a few days…
I said this we won’t sign anyone all this is bulxxxxt nobody wants to tell the truth why?
It seems that there is a plan at Senior level to maintain a safe mid table team and maintain a healthy cash position. can’t see any other reason to ignore the Manager’s demand to strenghthen the squad and to leave any activity to the last few days of the window. Fulham fans pay their ticket money to see goals and sucess in the league and cups, with the added possibility of European football. Without this, Fulham will always be a nearly team that can’t attract quality players. There is also a strong possibility of losing a very able manager to a team with greater ambition. Lets hope there is aplayers are more important then swimming pools change to show our very loyal fans that success needs backing from the Khans and that team strength is more important than a balance sheet.
We should all have become cave dwellers many years ago…this is a bi annual event…repeated unerringly.
The Khants show us twice a year that they do things their own way to the detriment of both the manager and the supporters.
The real conundrum is why we are so surprised every time.
Of course this is Marco’s final season.
Regrettably it won’t be ours.
Sums fulham up…..we have bought more Chefs than players
