One of the most entertaining elements of Fulham’s Premier League opener was that Calvin Bassey’s wardrobe malfunctions continued.
We first picked up on the fact that he was struggling with some terribly sized shorts during the pre-season tour of Portugal when the club’s official Twitter accounted highlighted his prowess on the wing during the friendly victory over Nottingham Forest.
Who @fulhamfc gave @CalvinBassey such massive shorts?

Would never have happened in #Pudsey's day …#ffc #coyw https://t.co/JRKE2LDDWy
The problem persisted at the AMEX on Saturday with Bassey not only having to get to grips with filling at left back in the absence of the injured Antonee Robinson and Ryan Sessegnon but struggling as his shorts repeatedly fell down. Some wags on social media suggested that the shorts heading south might have distracted the Brighton defence in the moments before Rodrigo Muniz struck his stunning equaliser.
Bassey, a prolific social media user, took to Twitter earlier this evening to reveal that he’ll be taking care of the problem.
My shorts are going up 🙂

And the soaraway Sun has splashed on the story in the last hour – highlighting how Bassey’s shorts came down as he was warming up at Arsenal in April.
I love Fulham; there is never a dull moment. And there may be some truth in the southward bound shorts distracting the defence!
Well on a lighter note the FFC staff and players know what we have to do when we are behind in extra time it is all about team work COYW.
What to do when we are behind indeed! Lol!
