No news about a fee – but Romano says ‘talks are advancing’ between the clubs and that the Brazilian striker wants to move to Serie A.
Go young. Survive. Then advance
Fine,if someone is willing to pay up ,but how and where they are going to find two strikers in three-week time and Silva is going to go livid and may walk before the season starts !!.
Are they going to pay the full 50 million i suspect not. I do not think Silva will be a Happy Bunny but will stay until at least the end of the transfer widow to see what rabbits the club can pull out of the hat
There is no point in keeping him if he won’t sign a new contract as we will lose even more. Also we don’t want players who don’t want to be here. Can’t blame him for having ambition.
I feel this situation could have been avoided with a bit of forward planning. Where are these targets that were identified in January ????
We are after a winger. They have Lookman, who wants to leave. Are we trying to get him coming this way as part of the deal? Either way, we should stick to our guns give him an improved contract and persuade him he’s got time on his side and his chances will be much improved by having one more really good season at the Cottage!
Calming down for a few minutes and thinking positively about this I decided this is simply part of Muniz’s team negotiating the best new contract with Fulham. Then it starts to make some sense.
We dont have time to replace him so realistically can’t sell, he has a good relationship with Fulham and especially Marco and can see himself becoming the first choice striker.
Just truth my logic holds up!!!
Looks like Taremi’s on his way. https://sportwitness.co.uk/player-on-his-way-to-fulham-once-he-agrees-to-salary-reduction-transfer-talked-up/
Steve D – Fulham signing a 33 year old striker?
I think this is just newspaper talk, I really can’t see that happening!
If we lose Muniz and bring in Taremi it just proves that we have no ambition and haven’t got a clue what we are doing ffs.
is it me or does anyone else think
selling mitro for 49 was too low
seliing paulhina for 48 was too low
why on earth we would entertain a bid for 40 million where you cant simply replace him
