Fulham have confirmed that under-21 pair Terrell Works and Charlie Robinson have put pen to paper on new one-year contracts with the club.
Cultured centre half Robinson has been rewarded for battling back from an ACL injury suffered in May 2023 as well as recovering from a knee operation last January as well as further surgery last August. The talented youngster came through a planned 20 minute appearance against FC Porto last week unscathed – which is arguably the brightest news of pre-season so far.
The defender told Fulham’s official website:
“It feels really good to sign a new deal. This feels like a fresh start for me because I haven’t played in a long time. I’m excited to be back playing and I’m grateful to have this chance to prove myself.”
Winger Works’ new deal arrives on the back of an impressive season for Fulham’s under 21s, where he scored six goals and added four assists in twenty games last term. He has a knack of scoring important goals as he did back in March when he grabbed the winner against Sporting Clube de Portugal in the quarter-finals of the Premier League International Cup.
After signing his new contract, Works said:
“I’m really grateful for this opportunity. I want to keep proving myself this season and do the best I possibly can.”
Was wondering what happened to Charlie Robinson always rated him and Works looks promising great were signing our kids
Great for the both of you Works follow your name continue work hard as you have to much talent to waste it, the kind of injuries Robinson has been through a lot of players would have given up. This young man has real talent and the only thing to keep him from being successful is injuries GOOD LUCK.
