Fulham are moving closer to securing Reiss Nelson’s return on loan after positive discussions with Arsenal this weekend.
The 26 year-old winger, who made thirteen appearances at Craven Cottage last season before a hamstring injury ended his season in December, looks likely to rejoin Marco Silva’s squad again this summer – initially on loan. The deal would include an option to buy, which could become an obligation should Nelson hit a Premier League appearance threshold.
Journalist Nico Schira suggests that agreement between all parties is now only ‘one step away’.
