COYW you will have my support for the rest of my life win, draw or lose I remember the days of Fulham Combination team with Rodney Marsh and Eddie Dillsworth ripping defenses apart how many of you remember those days or names like Tony Goodgame, David Methchick, Lampe, Lowe, Ketch or Johnny Key. I still think of those days and smile COYW
I do, Johnny key is my uncle. Love those days watching the first team one week then the reserves the next. Tosh Chamberlain took a humbug sweet from me whilst on the left wing in a reserve match.
I first saw Eddie Dillsworth playing for Chelmsford City in the Southern League. a definite fan favourite. Especially after scoring from a free-kick when the taker stood astride the ball, pulled both feet together at the same time, flicked the ball up behind him where Eddiie waited to hammer it into the top right-hand corner.
Are we going to sign any players yet again we are becoming a laughing stock of the premier league and always so predictable every transfer window thinking about not renewing my season ticket if Tony Khan is still in charge
That’s just what he wants you to do…..and sell the ticket to a tourist for much more.
Do we know where they are based / training from in Portugal? I’m flying out there the day after the Forest game.
It’s in the Algarve – according to the club’s website. The previous training camps took place at the Amendoeira Golf Resort but we can’t confirm exactly where this one is. Hope this helps.
Thanks DC and Clive as just mentioning Dillsworth, Key and Tosh makes me smile I lived near Tosh off Hazelbury Rd and remember him with his thunderous left foot in South Park. No FFC supporter should think of not renewing their season ticket unless for financial reason because Fulham will miss their support more than Tony Khan will miss their money. FULHAM FOREVER COYW.
